It was a neat pleasant store. Loved the meat case and dairy. Very neat.
Since drakes took over IGA I feel its not the same friendly happy place. I am so disappointed that everything is now bought in. I went in today to buy a pie for lunch and cannot believe they are now bought in. The original pies were amazing and freshly made everyday and the pie i got was a beef and potatoe and it was horrible. It was not hot and very salty. I ended giving it to the dog. Come on drakes pick up your act. I was bakery assistant there for 3 years and this is not acceptable. You have lost my support. That's sad for lowood. Cause most families cant afford to go elsewhere.
Great store for a small town. Carry wide range of groceries and very well priced.
Hate shopping there. Since Drakes have taken over the place is no longer a happy place to shop. The prices have gone up, Drakes sorry but you killed the vibe I shop elsewhere except when I'm stuck
Same building, new owners! I had my first visit to the store since it changed hands. For now I'm impressed, we finally appear to have pay wave at all the tills. Product lines don't appear to different at this stage but I'm sure they will evolve a little as time goes on, I was impressed with the new uniforms.The service here is great and it's nice to see the usual faces around.
