The food here is always great, they have cheaper meals which I've never had a problem with and more expensive options which is always my go to. The dining room itself has seen better days with the tables/chairs straight out of the 80's but it's generally quiet and the kids have a play area in the corner with enough to keep little little ones busy. The place does get very busy one night a week for what I think is trivia. Service is always top notch and the staff seem to enjoy the place. It is however NOT table service and you have to order drinks at the bar upstairs and meals at the kitchen register but this is typical for pubs in the region.
